This 6-part giant ear model is an upgraded model of the XC-303A Ear Model. It illustrates the three main parts of the hearing organ: the external ear, middle ear, and inner ear. It also shows the location of the body’s balance organ. The model can be separated into 6 pieces and is enlarged 5 times its actual size.
It highlights the following anatomical features:
- External ear: The shape of the ear (auricle) and the main features of the ear canal (external auditory meatus).
- Middle ear: The eardrum (tympanic membrane), the three tiny bones (hammer, anvil, stirrup), and the eustachian tube.
